Collin Point '15 Recruiting Profile

Signed LOI to play QB at Fort Hays State University.    

I worked with a QB coach and personal trainer over the past two season's to prepare for my senior season to lead the team and as a result we had productive winning season.  I led our team to a 7-3 season.  Personally, I earned Honorable Mention All-State, All-conference QB, was voted Team Captain and earned Co-Team MVP award.   Prior years, I had earned both the Team MVP and Offensive Player MVP awards during my freshman and both JV seasons.   During this season, individually I set the school record for 9 passing TD's (season) and including 7 rushing TD's I set the schools total TD record at 16, I also ended up #2 on the school single season rushing record.  I also set the single season school passing and single game passing records.  I know I can play at the next level and perform to a coaches expectation as their future starting quarterback.   I feel that my production and hard work will carry over into a college program seeking a player who isn't afraid to lead.  I am a tough player and lead by example and show respect to my coaches.  I dedicated myself to improving on the field and made sure my teammates put in the extra time needed.  I have high expectations and future goals of earning a college degree as a student-athlete.   Give me a chance to help lead your team toward winning a championship.
