Basketball is a sport that I always played with my friends, but I truly came into the game when I was 14 years old. I am a self-taught athlete who is currently under the guidance of the coaches, who placed me as a center position at my high school.
I am very agile for my height and am a presence in the paint! I am aggressive and successful at getting rebounds, averaging 9.6 per game, and averaging 15.4ppg with my post work and push shot. I am also a very good shot-blocker, averaging 3.5bpg, making it very hard for defenders to score. I have a soft touch around the rim, but also an excellent push shot which makes me a threat as a power forward. The push shot also gives me a high percentage at the free-throw line. I am currently developing my ball handles, concentrating on my left hand. On the post, it is difficult to guard me because of my height, reach and footwork. My drop step and hook shots are strong and most difficult to defend. I strive for clear and frequent communication with my teammates during the game.
My goal is to play competitive college basketball and secure a degree in the Exercise Sciences field, like a personal trainer, athletics trainer/coach, sports medicine, etc.
