Personal Statement
I am a dedicated student, achieving honours (over 80%) upon graduating elementary school and my first year of high school. I pride myself on my physical fitness, working with a personal trainer, Brady Fox, for the past year. I have excelled at school athletics and was male athlete of the year at my elementary school. I am also a championship archer, holding several national and provincial records, and an all star baseball player for many years.
I am a positive role model at school and in my community. I have completed over 50 volunteer hours coaching goalies for Hockey Northwesten Ontario and Port Arthur Minor Hockey. I enjoy working with young goalies. I also continue to accumulate volunteer hours at our archery club, our family church and my sister's ski club.
I worked as an umpire for a couple of seasons before being promotes last year to Chief Umpire for the Port Arthur Nationals. I am currently working for Lakehead Minor Hockey as a timekeeper.
I played as both a defenceman and goalie until my first year of peewee when I committed to being a goalie. Ever since, I have been improving my game with team coaching and private clinics with Colin Zulianello. I also help Colin during his camps with younger goalies.
I feel confident that my character, commitment, and talent would be an asset to any team.
