Brandon Grunfeld '25 Recruiting Profile

I play in the ECNL for the Chicago Magic. I am a student athlete.  I have a passion to succeed, learn and make those around me better.  The attitude and passion that makes me great on the soccer pitch is the same attitude and passion I bring to my studies.  I create positive relationships with my teachers, coaches and teammates.  I work hard to create teams and networks understanding that as a team, the individual is stronger.  

What makes me unique is my ability to have compassion & empathy.  I think about others and how they feel, I find ways to help build people up vs. tearing them down.  I look for positive people and relationships.  When it comes to my schooling, these character traits have helped me earn a 4.0 GPA my freshman year.  I have teachers that care about me and want to be a part of helping me succeed.  These same traits have helped me succeed on the pitch as well.  My game has continued to grow helping me go to State Cup Finals 2 yeas in a row, advance to regionals semi-finals where I only allowed 1 goal the entire tournament and qualify for National League PRO going into my Sophomore year.  My team has also qualified for the ECNL Competitive league which will continue to help my game grow and give me the visibility I need for being a student athlete at the college level.

I am continuing to always challenge myself by playing at the highest levels for soccer and taking advanced placement and honors classes in the classroom.  I appreciate you taking the time to consider me.
