Nicholas Bryson '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nic Bryson. I would like to start by thanking you for taking time to learn more about me and who I am as a person, a volleyball player, and a student. I know most kids say they have a desire to play college volleyball. But to me it's more than just being a volleyball player, it's about creating opportunity. Opportunity for my university, my teammates and myself. I want to be the hardest working player on your team, contribute to the legacy of my university, be a model student and the very best player I can be on the court. My goal is to help your team win championships and I will do whatever it takes to help your program achieve that goal.  There are many traits I possess that I think can contribute to your team. To start, I care about the guy next to me more than I care about myself. I want to be a leader and help every player on our team achieve their highest potential on the court. I focus on the future, not dwell in the past. It's about the team and what we can achieve together. My vertical leap, speed and aggressive play at the net are all things that I hope can make me a strong player for your university. While I play MB/MH today, I am willing to work hard and accept any position. Sports have always been an important part of my life, but what I've learned most about playing sports is how to be part of something bigger than myself. It's taught me to work together with my teammates, push ourselves to achieve our goals, celebrate in our wins, learn from our losses and get better every day. These are lessons that I know will not only prepare me to achieve success in college but in life. While I only have a few years of experience with volleyball, it has become my passion and dedicated sport. For years I played basketball at an elite level, and I feel that experience has prepared me for this moment. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.
