Personal Statement
I started playing soccer when I was five and continued to play rec soccer until I was eight. I then started playing travel soccer with my first club team, Tri-County Soccer, and played there until I was twelve. In the transition in between my U12 season and my U13 season I switched teams to my current club, Laforza Soccer Club. Since I have been on this team I have grown as a player, now playing against harder teams and challenging myself more than ever. My team plays in the Michigan State Premier Soccer Program (MSPSP) in the Premier 2 division. In my freshmen year of high school, I made my high schools JV team. As a sophomore, I made the JV team again, but after two or three games got pulled up to play on varsity for the rest of the year. Last year, I made the varsity team and played as a center back and a defensive mid at times. My team and I came in second place in our conference and second place in our district. This year I will primarily be playing a defensive mid and hope to win our league and our district. In playing soccer I have gained the quality of leadership and working well with others. When playing, I always do what is in the best interest of the team and try to play as unselfish as possible. These qualities have helped me in other areas besides soccer, such as school. I plan on keeping my GPA above a 3.7 for the rest of my high school career and after, going to college and getting a degree in some sort of medical field.
