Personal Statement
My name is Zack Wohlart and I attend Northwest High School in Jackson County, MI. I would like to mention first that my soccer career and accomplishments would not be possible if it were not for my parents.
At the age of 10, I tried out and moved onto club soccer (RUSH) when it was established in Jackson, MI. Joining RUSH at the age of 10 was the starting point of where my skills and endurance grew due to the training of the coaches. My primary positions have been both a striker while substituting as a center back when needed. Since playing with RUSH, I have sharpened my skill sets in the areas of shot placement, possession, positioning, first touch and passing. During my freshman year at Northwest High School, I was the only student from approx. 20 freshman and sophomores that was selected to play varsity soccer for the Northwest High School Mounties 2013 Varsity soccer team and played as a starter my entire freshman season.
My commitment to soccer and academics requires that I participate year round training between Spring club and high school soccer. My dedication to academics can be seen by GPA and a member of the National Honor Society. As a leader, I am a member of the Link Crew at Northwest High school which helps new students and freshman. My goal is to play college soccer and I am looking forward to finding the right college.
