Soccer has been a passion of mine since I was 5. As I grew up, I had to compete with my brother who is a year and a half older than me. I have always had to work harder and be stronger to keep up with him. My dad played in college and shared his love of the sport with me. He instilled in me lessons for the game and my life: to work hard, always do the little things, to work with others and to communicate, and ultimately be the best version of myself. I use these values on the pitch and in my day-to-day life.
These lessons have not only helped me to develop into the soccer player I am today, but have also helped me to thrive in my school work. In school, I take advanced classes and push myself to learn. I am taking all International Baccalaureate (IB) classes and will achieve the IB diploma. This will help me prepare for college on an educational level.
