Sophia Chemotti '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a three sport Varsity athlete at my high school (Bishop Ludden Jr. Sr. High School). Playing Soccer, Basketball and Softball at Ludden I love being part of a team and a team leader. I strive in doing my best in all the sports I play and being a mentor on and off the field with my teammates. I started playing Varsity sports in 8th grade, so I learned the most important part of being on a team is work hard, play hard, and there is never an "I" in Team. We win as a team and Loss as a team.  Along with my School sports, I also have played Travel Softball and Travel Basketball since I was in 5th grade. These two sports have been my passion and although it has been very difficult scheduling my weekend tournaments, I thank my parents for allowing me to play on both teams and running me everywhere as well as to my coaches who have dealt with my tournament schedules. I am very loyal to both Syracuse Nets and Geddes Thunderstick's teams and although my summer weekends are completely booked, I wouldn't want it any other way. Loyalty and commitment are very important to me and I have never decided to pursue to any other Travel teams, I started with these two teams, and I will end with these two teams. I also am very dedicated to my studies; I am determined to maintain High Honors every semester at school, and I am on track to be inducted into National Honor Society in Spring 2024. I look forward to meeting and showing the skills I have, and I hope to find my future college.
