As my parents and I are beginning to research colleges, it is important that my academic goals are met, in addition to the possibility of competing in soccer. My current plan is to study biomedical research at the college level, and so schools with that program are of interest to me. I am excited to become part of the college community, and I believe that soccer is an excellent way for me to represent the school, take pride in the school, and compete on behalf of that community. Finding that right athletic match while allowing me to pursue my academic career goals is my top priority.
On the soccer field, I am a coachable athlete who leaves everything on the field each time I go out there. My strengths are speed and endurance and I am therefore a good fit and comfortable playing in the midfield. However, I believe my instincts suit me as a defender, which is the position I love to play, especially when I can be a key part of the offense too. I enjoy the tactical part of the game and being able to get my teammates involved in the game. I think that what stands out when watching me play is my consistent level of effort, endurance, versatility, and the love I have for hard, competitive, and clean play.
