Personal Statement
My goals on the collegiate level are to first get a good education. I understand that you can not do anything in this world without an education. My second goal is to be the best track runner that I can possibly be. I know that I have a lot of potential and God given talent in this sport seeing that I had never ran track until my freshman year of high school. What separates me from other recruits is my attitude, leadership, and dedication to the sport. I always have a positive attitude on and off the track. My coaches and friends say that I am always fun and great to be around, but when it is time to be serious I am always focused. I consider myself a great leader. I am the captain on my track team and most of the people on the team look up to me. Lastly I am dedicated to the sport. I put in the most work on my team if its doing step ups after practice or doing things on my own time. My number 1 aspect is winning I never settle for 2nd or 3rd. Also I put in an extra effort in the classroom. I always go talk to my teaches if I do not understand something, because in my house grades are first.
