Rory Minogue '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was 3. I started kicking the ball around the house, and shooting on any blank wall we had in the house. I started playing at the Park Dist. when I was 5, and have not looked back. I have had so much fun and enjoy playing soccer. I love everything about the sport.  The training, the matches, the individual sessions, the wins, the loses, and the comrade with my teammates. I primarily play 11, and 7, but I can also play, 9 and CAM if needed.  I was voted team captain at St. Rita as a Freshman and Sophomore.  I am a quiet leader and try to lead by example.

I am not sure what my collegiate goals are. I know I want to play in College, I believe I can play at the highest level, I have that type of confidence in my abilities. However, I am going to leave that to the coaches to tell me where they think I can fit in with there program.  I understand, there are players that right now may be a little better than me. I however have not peaked and have a lot more to learn and places in my game to improve. I want to go to a school that will take my game to that next level. 

I, am a multisport athlete, I also play baseball at a high level as well. But soccer is my first love.  I have a 3.55 GPA at St. Rita of Cascia High School. It's an all boys Catholic HS on the South Side of Chicago. As well as playing Baseball, I am member of the Broadcast Club, SpikeBall Club and Knights of Augustine club at St. Rita. 

I have two younger siblings. Liam 13 and Rosie 7. I could not be in the position I am now with the opportunity to possibly play soccer in college if for not the support of my Mom and Dad. They have sacrificed so much for me to attend St. Rita and for playing travel soccer the last 9 years.
