Personal Statement

I am currently playing softball for the College of Siskiyous in Weed, Ca.  I chose to go to a JC so I could play and have actual field experience instead of being a bench player on a larger team.    I started for the College of Siskiyous as the Center Fielder as a freshman last year and I will continue to start at Center field as a Sophomore this year.   I have played in several games against tough competition and the last two years my team has played against the Oregon Ducks, College of Idaho,  Southern Oregon University and Oregon Institute of Technology.    I am a team player placed primarily in center field but have also played where the coach has needed me in other positions such as left field, and first base.
