I've worked very hard in the classroom during high school so that I can achieve my dream of attending an elite academic institution for college. My aspirations while at college will include making the most of a true student-athlete experience. I hope to continue in college what I have done during high school, which is to work extremely hard to be the best player I can, to study hard to take advantage of the opportunities presented to me, and to give back to the community by being involved with local service organizations and clubs at school. I feel I am a good candidate because of my strong work ethic, my experience as a leader, and my good attitude that I bring to everything that I do. Because my family lived abroad for a couple years and because I played many sports, I really got a late start to my full-time softball career. As a result, I have had to work harder and be more coachable so that I could enjoy the success that I have had so far. I'm a very adaptable player both in the positions I play on the field and where I bat in the line up. I'm comfortable with all of the infield and outfield positions. In addition, I am as competent hitting for consistency as I am laying down a bunt. I feel that my best softball is still ahead of me and I look forward to continuing to improve my game with the help of the excellent coaches in college.
