Personal Statement
My collegiate goals are to become successful and I have set high expectations for myself. Mainly, my classes come first because that is what's going to determine my future; playing softball is an added bonus. Softball has become more and more important to me throughout the years, and I never want to stop playing. I want to excel academically as well as out on the field. Ever since I was a little girl, I've always wanted to be a veterinarian, and once I set my mind to something, nothing can stop me. I want to major in Biology because that is the subject that always has interested me, and it will get me into a great veterinarian school after I get my Bachelor's degree in Biology.
I can make a great candidate for a team because I mesh with all personalities and I am eager to learn. I can accomplish anything I put my mind to and I adjust to different coaching or playing techniques. I'm always looking to be better, on the field as well as in classroom. I gladly take on leadership roles from the time I started playing until now. I never stop trying to be better, no matter where I am. I love softball, I love everything about it. No matter if I'm striking out or striking someone else out, I'm always trying to improve. My learning capabilities have gotten me to where I am today. I love to learn new things. I like to know what everyone else knows and I like to challenge myself by taking tougher courses. I am always looking to be one step ahead of everyone else. This is why I differ from most, if not all other recruits.
