Personal Statement
Ever since I was in elementary school I had a passion for the game. As I started getting older and better I realized I wanted to compete at the collegiate level. Not only do I want to compete at the college level, but I want to make an impact for my team. At the same time, I will strive to be the best student I can be because I want to be successful in life.
If I had to choose two words to describe me it would be hard-worker. I go after everything and I am willing to do what others do not want to do. I am one of the most determined and competitive person you will meet. Even though I am on the quiet side, my actions speak so loud on the court, school, and in my everyday life.
In basketball, some of my strongest abilities are shooting three pointers, making key plays in big games, pressure defense, and my hustle plays. My junior year I shot 51.9 percent from the three point line, which was a school record and ranked me the third best percentage in the state of Ohio out of all divisions. As much as I care about basketball, I do the exact same for my academic side. I have a 3.5 and I am a member of National Honor Society , strides leader, and Hancock Youth Leadership.
