Personal Statement
Being the starting point guard at the varsity level since my freshman season has given me valuable experience and helped my development as a player. I needed to learn how to be an effective player when opposing defenses were designed to take away my strengths. The experience I've gained over these past three seasons has shown me what things I need to work on to improve my overall game at both ends of the floor.
I’m very fortunate to be a part of a great high school program. Our program has a structured off-season schedule which will allow me to have the tools to improve my game. Competing in our District and State playoffs these past three seasons has fueled my desire for more team success and will drive me to work harder in the off-season.
Academics are very important to me. I’m looking for a college program that will be a good fit for me both athletically and academically. I believe I can compete at the college level and have the drive and determination to personally succeed as well as make my teammates better.
