I have been swimming competitively for eight years and on a ‘club’ team until I finished middle school. As a junior in high school, my strong work ethic keeps my swim times competitive with my peers that swim on year-round teams. Currently, I am taking four (4) Advanced Placement classes and have a 5.146 Weighted GPA (Unweighted GPA 3.979). My sophomore year I was given an Award of Excellence for achieving the highest GPA on my high school girls’ swim team, this past fall I was inducted into the National Honor Society, and was presented with the Coach's Award for the 2016/2017 Swim Season.
I have been selected to be a team captain on my summer recreation swim team for the summer of 2017 and strive to be a team leader on my high school team. I hope my achievements as both a student and athlete afford me the opportunity to swim during my college years.
