My name is Molli Back and I am currently a freshman at Franklin High School for the class of 2027 in Franklin, Tennessee. I am very dedicated to swimming and I currently swim for Ensworth Aquatics and for my school team, Franklin Swim & Dive. My goal is to swim for a university while pursuing my studies. I want to be a law student in college. Next year I will start the pre law class at Franklin High.
I started swimming when I was eight years old for my neighborhood team, the Fieldstone Farms Flippers. I learned that I loved swimming breaststroke, freestyle, and being on relays with my friends. My favorite events to swim are the 100 br, 200 br, 50 fr, 100 fr, 200 fr, and 100 bk. Swimming has given me so many lifelong friendships and relationships with my coaches. I love going to meets and cheering on my teammates. I enjoy going to practice to challenge myself and become a better swimmer.
I have competed at Southeastern Championships for over three years. Last year I qualified for Sectionals in Cary, NC. One of my biggest accomplishments has been winning the 13-14 100 breaststroke at a club
meet, the 2023 Firecracker Excel Invite. Then, this year at Southeasterns in Huntsville, AL, I broke my team’s long course 100 breast record by over 1 second. I want to challenge myself throughout the coming years in my swimming and academic career.
