Personal Statement
I aspire to study medicine and become a doctor or surgeon as I go onto college. I am extremely hard working and aspire to graduate with very high standings in academics. What I am looking for in a college is a school that has a fairly large population with many opportunities for extracurricular activities and clubs as well as diverse community. I think I am a very good candidate to play at the collegiate level because I am very hard working, dedicated, and work well with others. When I set my mind to something, I don't give up on it; I follow through with it until I succeed. I constantly am pushing myself to do the best that I can, which I think is a very important quality in a college athlete. Adding to that, I mesh well with others which is very important. I am a very outgoing person and loves meeting new people. Also, I am very involved in community projects and helping around the community. I find it extremely important to do service for the community; as a freshman I have already obtained more than 40 service hours. Also, I have been an invention summer camp leader. Adding to that, I have a 3.9 GPA and am involved in many school clubs and organizations. Regarding my athletics, I play many sports such as swimming, tennis, golf, and soccer. I am extremely devoted to volleyball, I was the JV captain and played varsity my freshman year. On my club team I play all around and am seen as leader on and off the court.
