Personal Statement

Hello,

I am Reese Bachus and I am student at Manteno High School in Illinois (about an hour south of Chicago).  I will graduate in 2021 and am excited for the opportunity to continue my education as well as my volleyball career after high school.  I am an 'A' student and I take a lot of pride in my schoolwork.  I have been playing club volleyball since 6th grade and I'm usually an outside hitter although I also play middle and opposite.  I work very hard on the court and I understand the importance of teamwork.  When not playing indoor, I enjoy coaching volleyball for grade school and intramural teams in town.  I think my versatility, skill and work ethic make me a strong candidate to play volleyball at the next level.
