Personal Statement
My collegiate goals are to find the right university that makes me feel welcomed and as if I am a part of the family. I want to attend a school that pushes me to become a successful athlete and student. My freshman and sophomore year my father battled lung cancer. His cancer was a major obstacle in my life that I have overcome. Since he has passed away and I now know that he is pain free, I am excelling much more on and off the field. I have been awarded the titles of First Team All-Conference, First Team All-Area, and First Team All-State. I am also doing better in the classroom than ever before. Football is extremely important to me. I have been playing since a very young age. I am willing to go above and beyond to improve myself, as well as my team, on the field. I am very loyal to my teammates and will do anything I can to benefit them. I get along very well with my teammates and coaches no matter the situation. My team, current and future, will always have my unconditional support. It has also been said by many that I show great sportsmanship. My mother and I have received multiple texts and emails from other team's coaches, players, and player's parents explaining how they were impressed and surprised that a player with as much talent as I obtain would be prevalent in showing good character and kindness on the field. I am confident in myself and my team, but I am never cocky. No matter which college I end up at, I am confident that I will be a great asset to the team. I am excited to see what my future holds.
