Personal Statement
Making the midpenn conference first team my junior year of high school was a major highlight of my volleyball career, but I wouldn't have achieved that had it not been for my previous years training. I can honestly say that those beginning years of playing has shaped me into a versatile player. After switching positions once or twice, I learned how to be able to adapt to new situations quickly. I have also learned that teamwork and leadership are very important values. I have never been a very outgoing person, but after playing for so long and learning different things, I believe that volleyball has brought me out of my shell and taught me how to become a better leader and encourage my team to work their hardest.
I have also participated in high performance and during my experience, I learned that along with being competetive, I really enjoyed and loved playing volleyball. I love how it's a sport where players can compete, yet also relax and just play for enjoyment. I am interested in a school that can provide that for me. I believe that academics and competing are very valuable aspects. I am looking for a school where I can get the best education for myself and I can compete competitively.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. I look forward to hearing from you if you think I would be a good fit for your volleyball and academic program.
