Personal Statement
My name is Stephanie Jarvis, and I am currently a junior at Hortonville High School in the small town of Hortonville. I am a 5'5" 110 lbs. libero/DS. I have been involved with athletics for as long as I can remember. Whether I was participating in running races or competing in triathlons. I found volleyball in 5th grade and fell in love with it right away. I've always been a motivated, active person my whole life. I always give 100% in everything I do, from the court, to the classroom, to community activities. I love a challenge and love to work hard to see a positive end result. As I near the end of my high school career, I look forward to the challenges I will be faced with in college.
In school, I work hard everyday to better myself as both a student and an athlete. I work to manage both my workload in school and in athletics. I know that my studies are just as important in college because it will help set me up for my future career. I also know how important it is to be a good member of the team. You can ask any of my coaches and teammates and they can vouch for the fact that I not only work hard to raise my level of play, but also the play of those around me. I have high energy, and I am positive and talkative all the time. I will do anything that is needed to help out my team.
Outside of school and volleyball, I love to hang out with my friends and family, workout, read and listen to music. I understand that there is more to life than just sports, and I am continuing to learn the balance.
