My name is Christopher Maxwell, I just finished my freshman season at Blue Mountain College in Mississippi. I attended high school at Charles Henderson High School in Troy, Alabama. I faced a lot of adversity throughout my high school days involving a few injuries. I had to miss my entire senior season due to breaking my Talus during football. I was told by a doctor that I could have possibly lost my foot. After two successful surgeries, I wasn’t able to walk for four months, but I was able to make a great and swift recovery. While I was still undergoing physical therapy I began to go to a few tryouts and I was able to earn a scholarship at Blue Mountain College.
I am great defensive catcher, I am advanced at receiving, blocking, and I don‘t allow runners to advance easily. I have a great bat, I can hit for power and I have great hand eye coordination. I have a great eye for the strike zone and I find a way to get on base frequently. I am a very hardworking and coachable athlete, I desire the opportunity to get better in all aspects of the game and increase my knowledge of the game. I’m also a great student, I am committed to my studies, I spent a large portion of my time in the library throughout my freshman year studying and doing homework. I am an easy going and classy guy. Wherever my path leads me I will be committed no matter the circumstances.
