Personal Statement
My name is Cristo Tabares. I am a senior at Coconino High School in Flagstaff, Arizona. One of my strongest characteristics is my leadership abilities. I am the Student Body President and I was a Links Leader. In sports, people look up to me and come to me for help on and off the field. I was raised by a single mother who was unable to finish high school, so I have learned the importance of hard work and determination. I have seen and experienced first hand the importance of receiving a college education. Seeing my mother's struggles and hardship has further motivated and inspired me to go to college and hopefully play the game I love. I would love to study Criminology and Criminal Justice and hopefully become a probation officer.
