Gage Golden '20 Recruiting Profile

I know that getting a great education is the best way to start my path for my future. I see my parents balance the constant daily task of paying bills, and taking care of family life. I wish that my parents would have been given the opportunity to attend college and acquire degrees. I believe that that by seeing them work hard, that I too have that drive in me.  I know that it takes a whole team or a whole family to get anywhere.

After many months of research, I have changed by degree plan goals. I have very much interest in the field of Wildlife & Fisheries. I hope to obtain a degree and someday become a biologist. I am hoping that my job someday can differ from one day being out in a forest or lake, and the next day being in a classroom showing children how fun it can be working out in the wild.

I am going to be honest...I am not a straight A student. I get my work completed and turned in on time. I would consider myself a solid A / B student.
