September 2018Personal Statement
Looking for a 4 year school, with a quality baseball program with an emphasis in the continued development of pitchers. I am beginning my third year of JUCO ball due to Covid-19 and continue to develop physically at Southeast Community College (Nebraska). Due to Covid-19, the NJCAA has stated that no eligibility would be lost for student athletes in 2020 or 2021. I will still have 3 years of eligibility after the upcoming spring 2022 season. I missed 5 weeks of the 2021 season at Coffeyville CC due to Covid-19 protocols with a positive test and contact tracing. This decreased my training, practice and game opportunities. I have moved to program that seems to be a better fit for me. My pitchability has always been very good and the velo is starting to follow. SCC has a more intense weight training program than what I have experienced before and I am starting to see the benefits. I love baseball and I hope to be able to utilize this love to help me obtain a bachelors degree and possibly a masters degree all while seeing just how high this ceiling is for my pitching.
