2024 SpotlightPersonal Statement
My name is Aldrich and I am a student-athlete. I am a pitcher capable of changing arm angles from over the top and submarine sidearm. During the 15u 2023 regular season in Canada’s top under-18 league, the BCPBL, I posted a 0.42 ERA, 0.52 WHIP, and a .112BAA through 50 innings, leading all of BC. I also played outfield and also hit leadoff for the Delta Blue Jays, 2023 15u national champions.
My main objective is to play baseball at a school with a strong business program. I love baseball, and don’t plan to stop playing it. My brother also graduated from Cornell and works at a large financial institution in NYC. I aspire to follow in his footsteps in his major and success, therefore I maintain a strong academic profile.
I know opportunities and chances are rare to receive, but I’m ready to work hard once I’m given one.
