Personal Statement
I’ve been playing baseball since I was 5 years old. Each year I’ve had the benefit of playing this amazing sport and learning new things to help me become the player and person I am today.
My ultimate goal for baseball is to continue playing at the highest level possible. My work ethic and baseball IQ has allowed me to flourish in the game. I’m a quick learner and always apply what coaches suggest to help me better my game.
I’ve grown up knowing baseball is a privilege. If I didn’t succeed in the classroom I know I would not be playing anymore. As a result, I focus on my academics as much as baseball because in the word student-athlete, student comes first. I also acknowledge that education itself is a privilege, that’s why I take so much pride in the classroom, always trying to push myself on and off the field

- ActivitiesWMG - Windermere Marketing Group. A group of students who help create events in school to bring unity amongst students. Care for Vancouver- A student led initiative that aims to help the homeless crisis in Vancouver. We collect donations for our projects that we do throughout the year to give back to the Al Mitchell Place. Hastings Youth Council - A group of students from Vancouver to create fun and safe events for children from the community at the community centre. We also collaborate with companies other groups who may have upcoming events that need planning or change volunteering. Hastings Summer Camp - A summer camp for youth at Hastings Community Centre. I was in charge of creating a fun environment for the kids while also keeping the children safe.
