My name is Jacob Perez and I am 16 years old. I am 5'11 and my weight is 180 lbs. As a freshman, I was the starting varsity third baseman. I was also able to experience winning a Valley Championship my freshman year. That was an awesome experience. However, I feel I grew the most as a student athlete sophomore year because we did not make the Valley Championship. This made me set my goals higher for the rest of my high school baseball career. I am currently a Captain of the team I am currently on. I am fortunate to be apart of an amazing program. Outside of school and baseball I am an usher for a local Christian Church called Family Community Center short for FCC. I also am in a club at school called Fellowship Of Christian Athletes, this is short for FCA, this club is to express our religious beliefs and to do community service. In these past three years I learned the value of team work, commitment, and leadership. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me academically. I believe I have the work ethic and talent to compete for a college team. I also believe that my character and leadership will have an impact on a college team. By being a three year starter on varsity and a captain of my baseball team I think I have what it takes to be a leader on your college team.
