Raymond Castillo II '21 Recruiting Profile

My dream is to make it to the highest level possible in baseball and college baseball is one more step towards that goal. I am a team player who will do anything to help the team win whether that's a clutch hit, a sacrifice out, etc. I play baseball for the love of the game and I respect this game. I give 110% on the field and nothing less, once I step on that field it's time to go to work. I go by a quote from Charel's Gwynn Senior, "If you work hard good things will happen." I am known on my baseball team for being a workaholic, always striving to get better. I use Tony Gwynn's approach to hitting, to get on base. I have demonstrated this hitting .500 in Pony-13 All-Stars and .667 in the Game Day USA Junior All American Games.  I also set my priorities in academics averaging A's on my grades so that I can get into a good school.
