Nick Heimbrodt '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nick Heimbrodt. I'm a sixteen year-old senior attending Marin Catholic High School in Kentfield, CA. Next fall, I am hoping to attend a four-year university of high academic standards where I can pursue my love of, and interest in baseball. I am a starter on the varsity football and baseball teams. This past summer I played travel baseball and was invited to participate in a Northern California Bay Area showcase event. In addition to my athletic pursuits, I participate in my church's youth group. With my youth group I have gone on community service trips for three consecutive summers.

As a young 6'1 left-handed pitcher, I hope to find a college who sees my potential and appreciates my strong work ethic. I would like to play baseball while pursuing a degree in journalism. Attending a college preparatory high school, playing two varsity sports and participating in youth group activities has prepared me for the hard work that I will face as a collegiate athlete - a challenge I am ready to face head-on.
