Personal Statement

As a student athlete my collegiate goals and aspirations are to continue to play baseball for as long as I can and enjoy every moment of it because your not gonna be able to play forever. My next aspiration is to be in an all around well fit environment that I can balance baseball as well as academics which are extremely important to me as well. I know I am a good candidate for a collegiant team because I am motivated to play the game and I give 100% every time I step on the field, in between the lines and on the other side motivating my teammates. I believe I am also a good candidate because when times get difficult instead of being a mental case I compose myself in the best way possible to regroup myself which I attribute my composure and inner presence to taekwando which I did for 6 years and was honored to reach a 2nd degree black belt. I believe I am different from other recruits academically because I take academics very seriously and know baseball is the game I love to play but there has to be a backup plan and I need to be educated if I want to even pursue my other career besides baseball. Athletically I am different than others since I am consistently either training in the gym or practicing baseball throughout the week to better myself and reach attainable goals I set for myself.
