Athletics and academics have always been a big part of my life. Playing competitive club sports reinforced the value of hard work to continuously improve and discipline was required to also excel in the classroom. Being a multi-sport athlete cultivated a dream of playing college sports. I was tested during the ages of 12 to 15, when the boys I played club sports with grew earlier and were taller and stronger than me. Undeterred, I kept practicing baseball and switched from club soccer to play football at Loyola High School of Los Angles. During the past year, I completed my physical transformation, grew substantially, and have been training for 4-5 hours per day during this dreadful pandemic. I am now one of the strongest players on the baseball field and will continue to work as hard as required to be a scholar athlete and college baseball player.
