Jackson Van Til '25 Recruiting Profile

If I am get the opportunity to go to collage to play baseball I have multiple goals, I would work as hard as I can to improve in the best way possible over my 4 years as a baseball player and as a human. I would focus on getting good grades, striving to create strong friendships and get involved in the community. When I'm on the field and around my team I make sure to always work to not let my play get in the way of how I treat the others around me, I always work to have a positive attitude in order to make the people around me feel as comfortable as possible. That's why I'm a great candidate for a team. When playing I always have a competitive drive to win and to do all the things that make that possible. I'm a lefty so that automatically makes me different but I love finding ways to make sure not only me but my teammates are always getting better, I like showing them drills that I like to improve on things that they are working on. Whenever I try to give advice I don't care if they don't use it, I just want to put in the effort to show ways they might me able to get better. When in class it's always in my mind that being part of a team means you represent that team everywhere you go, because of this I always make sure to do my best to put as much effort into my academics as I do in baseball. Those things make me believe that I would be a great fit for a team and I hope others give me the chance to show that what I have said is true.
