I fell in love with the game of baseball at an early age and for the last twelve years (and counting) it has been my rock. Through all of life’s difficulties, for me, baseball was one thing that remained constant. Having played the game throughout my childhood, baseball has become a part of me, and it has played an influential role in shaping me into the person I am today.
Growing up with a dad that served in the United States Marine Corps, I knew early in life what it meant to have honor, courage, and commitment. I believe wholeheartedly that these traits transfer to my leadership on the diamond. I play with fire, and I lead by example. I believe my strong character, work ethic, and good-natured personality would be an asset to any team at the collegiate level.
As a freshman, I made and started every game on the JV team. Unfortunately, our season was cut short by the pandemic, but my unwavering love and passion for baseball allowed me to make the Varsity roster as a sophomore. I earned a starting spot in the lineup all while continuing to excel in the classroom. By maintaining A grades in all my classes at the high school as well as the community college, and I currently hold a 4.38 GPA, which has propelled me to rank 8 out of 611 in my class.
I am looking to find a school that offers a kinesiology major and/or a strong pre-medical program. This will allow me to pursue a career as a doctor, stay connected to baseball, serve new athletes, and the opportunity to fulfill a life-long dream of playing collegiate baseball.
