Jayden Bagalayos '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jayden Bagalayos. I am 18 years old and will be graduating high school in 2024. I currently attend Norco High School located in Norco, Ca. I am a true left hander and play 1st base, outfield, and I pitch as well. The last 2 years I was a member of the Norco High School baseball program. I was recently selected to play on the 18U Philippines National Baseball team for the summer of 2022. Coming from a Filipino background, my family is very important to me as they are very supportive of my future goals. My goals are to attend college furthering my education while also playing baseball. I have a passion and great work ethic when it comes to both academics and baseball. For the academic side, I take them seriously and always find time to study and make sure I understand everything as this is my first priority before baseball. Time management is also important for me so I can get my studies done the correct way but efficiently to make more time for sports. When playing baseball, I am a good teammate with a positive attitude and will do anything to help my team win and improve by dedicating myself to the program and process. I believe that by me working hard and being coachable to learn new things and being able apply them quickly will allow me to be a essential part to any program. Being apart of any School that will challenge me and better myself as a person and athlete on and off the field in life is one of my main collegiate goals and aspirations.
