Alex Conte '20 Recruiting Profile

It is my dream to be given an opportunity to play baseball in college. Since the day I understood that there is synergy between life and baseball, I have strived to be the best ballplayer, person, and student that I can be. My work ethic on the field and in the classroom is second to none, and that passion and energy is used towards improving in all areas. Playing baseball in college will give me a chance to use that passion to make me a better person when I graduate than when I walked through the front door. I want to inspire my teammates to approach the game seriously and challenge them so that we can achieve success together. I realize that without success in the classroom, playing baseball in college is not possible. My grades will have a greater impact on me than my ability to play baseball, however my goal is to graduate with great success not only in the classroom, but also as a person and as a ballplayer as well. I am a traditionalist when it comes to playing baseball, the integrity and pastime of the game is very important to me.
