Cade Hudmon '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a aspiring college baseball athlete that attends IMG Academy. During the 2024 spring season I had the opportunity to start for one of our top varsity teams as a sophomore. I was only one of three underclassmen on the team, playing 3rd, 2nd and 1st all season. I hit .301 for the year, while facing top 100 High School teams in Florida each week. I am most proud of my ability to control the plate to put the ball in play and rarely strike out. This season gave me an opportunity to face top Florida pitchers each week and help me get ready for a great Junior season next year. Prior to this season, I was voted team MVP the previous two seasons. During my 2023 high school Freshman season I batted .474 with 38 hits and 34 RBIs (95 PAs). I currently have a 4.29 weighted GPA and I always work to set the bar higher for my studies and school work. I am playing the 2024 summer season with the East Coast Dodgers 2026 Scout team. Last summer I played for the Florida Burn out of Venice, Florida. I batted .436 with 24 hits in 55 at bats. I am a versatile player that plays 3B, 2B, SS, 1B and OF.  I am interested in pursuing an undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor in photography at a competitive academic university. Playing baseball is my passion and motivates me to practice and learn more everyday. My favorite hobby is Photography. I spend some of my off-time around football and baseball fields taking action photos and videos or players and teams around the area. I look forward to talking with college coaches and recruiters in the near future.
