Being a two-sport athlete, I've gained valuable insights about myself through Football and Baseball. Each sport has imparted crucial lessons that not only benefit me on the field but also in various aspects of life.
In Football, I cherish being part of a brotherhood where 11 individuals unite to achieve a common goal. Learning the essence of teamwork and honing my leadership skills has been the most significant takeaway. Working alongside my teammates and motivating them to give their best has not only improved my performance on the Baseball Diamond but has also positively influenced me beyond sports.
Since I was three years old, Baseball has been my passion, and I've always aspired to play at the collegiate level. I believe this opportunity can be life-changing and transformative.
In the batter's box, I possess great confidence and contact skills, and on the defensive end, I combine strength with a high baseball IQ. As a team leader, I lead by example and support my teammates. I'm open to guidance and actively assist my coach in practices, mentoring fellow players towards success. My dedication to hard work extends year-round, participating in Summer ball, engaging in off-season cages and field work with my teammates, and staying active through football and year-round weight training to enhance my athleticism.
Academically, I prioritize my studies, maintaining a 4.0 GPA. My achievements have led to inductions into both the National Beta Club and the Governor's Honors Program, and I've received several awards for highest honors in multiple classes. I also devote my time to volunteering at local youth baseball and football camps.
My goal is to attend a college that challenges me both academically and on the baseball field. I remain open to all options, seeking the right college match at the highest level of competition. Becoming a positive role model for my peers, community, and those closest to me is an aspiration I hold dear.
