I have had a passion for baseball since I could swing a bat. I have been very fortunate to have coaches that have poured into me during my athletic career. I grew the most in my baseball career during my freshman year when I blew my knee. That feeling of disappointment showed me that if I wanted to be the best and compete at a high level in college I would have to continue to grow my skills and work harder. It took more than just a little bit of work and effort to get back to playing the game I love. I learned the value of details and listened to small pieces of advice that coaches would give me along the way. Being an athlete has helped me learn how important details are, in everything you do and they matter, even in the classroom. These experiences have shown me that I know I have what it takes to compete at the college level and I am a teammate that is willing to pay attention to small details that will continue to help me grow in whatever my role may be. I look forward to being able to make an impact on your program.
