Dustin Asuncion '19 Recruiting Profile

I started playing baseball at the young age of three and just fell in love with the game. Since I started playing baseball I always played one level above my age as my older brother always wanted me to play along side of him and I did. He taught me how to get stronger and be able to keep up with him. Because I was usually the youngest on the team, I had to work harder and get stronger to compete with the older kids. The hard work eventually paid off, as I earned a starting position on my high school varsity baseball team as a sophomore. I have been fortunate to play on a State High School Championship team as well as a 18U RBI World Championship team. I now hope to be given the opportunity to be apart of a collegiate team no matter what division and to help my team win a collegiate championship. With this opportunity I will be committed to do my best in the classroom and on the field.

I bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic. I will strive to be the best student athlete on and off the field. I am very coachable and willing to learn and improve my skills. In the classrooom I always strive to do my best. My current GPA is a 3.1 but I am determined to raise it higher by the end of my senior year. I hope to graduate from college within four years and earn a bachelors degree in Business Management.
