My name is Christian Lowe and I live and breathe baseball. I have competed on travel teams since I was 11 years old and have received private batting and pitching instruction from two former professional baseball players. These individuals and my coaches have inspired me to chase my dream to become a college baseball player.
I have always been a pitcher but consider catcher to be an equally important position for me. I also have considerable infield experience. I am proud of my pitching control and calm nature in clutch moments. I am the one the coach calls on to get our team out of a jam. I love competing and I thrive on being challenged athletically and intellectually.
Although my GPA doesn’t reflect my academic capability it is worthy to address that the COVID years and online learning did not serve me well. I am looking for the best college fit that allows me personalized attention in the classroom and the highest level of competition on the baseball field to raise my game and become the best I can be. At this point, I am undecided on my major but certain that I will find my career path at the college best fit for me.
I want to be known as a talented pitcher who catches as well as a great catcher who can pitch. The two positions have complemented each other in my development as a player. My extra time in the batting cage and private hitting instruction is really beginning to pay off. But most of all I want to be known for my work ethic. I will give my team my strongest effort, my competitive fire, and always be a team player. I am the first to arrive and the last to leave every day. And I am not content until I know I have given 110 percent!
Thank you for your attention and consideration.
