Connor Williams '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Connor Williams, and I am a Class of 2026 heavyweight wrestler. 

I plan to major in Elementary Education (hopefully kindergarten or 1st Grade) and I would love to give back to the wrestling community by becoming the schools coach after graduation. I help with my club now, and the little kids love crawling all over me and think it’s so cool that I am so big! They really enjoy that I am able coach them-off season, because they always root for me in-season.

I also compete around the United States at national events each year between duals and individual events including AAU, NUWAY, NCHSA, and more. I am from a very small town and community that is surrounded by cornfields and that’s probably why my parents are okay traveling around the country for me to watch me wrestle. I love to travel and see new places and eat at cool resturants!

Outside of wrestling I enjoy duck hunting at our many spots with my mom and step-dad, I also enjoy the silence and scenery of deer hunting in the winter, and enjoy fishing with my family and friends at the local lake or river in our boat.

I really enjoy going to concerts and listening to music. I have a keyboard and guitar that I practice with, and will be competing in our Highschool’s talent show next year singing a song and playing guitar.

I hope this gives a good inside look at my short 17 years of life! I am so excited to see what’s in store for me for my future!
