I love the sport of baseball. I have learned many personnel lessons from the coaches and teammates through the years of baseball. I would be a great addition to any team that I play on. I have never been the tallest, strongest or most athletically gifted player on the field. Given these facts I have always been one of the 9 players on the field. I will always strive to be the best player I can be, and make my teammates the best players they can be. Whether I am on the field or cheering on my teammates, my role is to make the team better, win or lose.
I am coming off a season at William Penn University, where I played for the JV team. During that time we were unable to play very many games due to a lot of horrible weather. However, I stayed in the gym working out, taking batting practice, and working on my fielding skills. While WPU has a great baseball program and the school is what I thought I was looking for, it doesn't seem to fit for me. I realize I will not be a MLB player, so planning for my future needs to be a financial decision instead of an athletic decision. I know that I have the ability to contribute to any team I play on however getting an education while being able to play baseball for a little longer is my desire.
