Austin Weitendorf '14 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Austin Weitendorf and I am a 5'10", 155 pound senior catcher from Plainfield, IL. I play at Plainfield Central High School and on the Lockport U-Dawgs which is my summer team. I believe that I can be a great addition to any college baseball team. 

I have a great attitude in the classroom and toward my school work. I have a 3.00 GPA out of 4.0 and a 21 ACT. I am working hard to raise my GPA and ACT score. I plan to major in Accounting. 

I have a great work ethic when it comes to baseball. I put the work in when I am on the field, in the cage, or in the weight room. I always give my best effort to improve myself as a baseball player and as an athlete. 

Baseball has been a huge part of my life since I was a young child. I want to continue playing baseball for as long as I possibly can. Baseball not only helps me on the field, but it also helps me in my everyday relationships, and helps me become a better student and young man.
