Personal Statement
For as long as I can remember I have been playing and have loved anything that has to do with sports. I have strived to be the best I could be in anything I've done, but I've always seemed to give even more in baseball. This game has meant so much to me ever since I was 3-4, and that's where it all started. I have already received much criticism for my size, yet I have been able to block it all out and focus on my goals and strive for greatness. As I continue on this journey I hope to never boast if I become that "great" player, and keep in my mind that there is always ways to improve.
Academically I would like to say that I give more into grades than I do into baseball. I strive to get around a 3.7-3.8 GPA by the time I graduate high school. I am very involved in my school for I am in 3-4 clubs and always try to find time in my day to put equally as much work into those as everything else. If anything I would hope I take down a good amount of my tuition with academic scholarships and if I am skilled enough athletic. If i were worthy enough to play college baseball, it is my understanding that it would be like I have two jobs, baseball and school work. I feel I am up for it though, I am confident of myself, but always open to critique to help my game.
