Personal Statement

Hi coach,

My name is Tristan Wilson and I am a student athlete for North Central High School for the class of 2025 in Indianapolis, Indiana. I have played varsity since my freshman year and get looks as both a pitcher and third basemen. I have played and admired the game of baseball since I can remember. I sacrifice, outwork, and overcome adversity to become the best version of myself that I can be. This game for me is a love, an addiction, even an obsession that will continue with me for as long as I live. As I can guarantee this, that I work to be the best and nothing short of it. Although all this is important, I know how important my academics are as well. For I make the same strides and effort in the classroom as I do anything else. As it shows in my 4.5220 GPA and schedule, as I take multiple honors/AP classes. Baseball has taught me a lot in life and my dream is to continue to learn more from it in college. This is the 18th annual 16U BCS Finals which is held on MLB Spring Training fields in Fort Myers, Florida.

This is the 19th annual 16U WWBA National Championship, which will be held at the East Cobb Complex and various ballparks in the Greater Atlanta Area.

This will be the 4th Annual 16U PG National Elite Championship, which will be held at the Hoover Met Complex and surrounding facilities in Hoover, Alabama area. This will be a strict invite process where the tournament field will be limited to the top 16U teams from across the country.

The USA Baseball National Team Championships are elite championship events which serve as the primary identification vehicle for players to be considered for the 16U National Team Development Programs (NTDP). Through these events, USA Baseball provides an opportunity for more than 300 teams the chance to showcase their talents against teams from all across the nation and players an opportunity to be selected to represent their country.

The Midwest Prospect League is a round robin with no champion (there will be bracket play for 13u & 14u divisions). This weekend is built for players to showcase their talents in front of colleges. In 2022, the event saw close to 200 college schools/coaches, with at least one school from each of the power 5 conferences in attendance.

This invitation-only event will showcase the strength of the entire program - 17U, 16U, and 15U. Has developed into a "can't miss" event for the summer. 4 game-guarantee hosted at LakePoint Sports as well as local off-site locations.
