Evan Colsch '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing baseball since I was six years old. Since I first stepped on the diamond, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life. 

I have swift ball tracking skills, mental toughness, strong plate appearances, and high baseball IQ. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and assist my coach with leading drills and coaching other teammates to better themselves. I strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you'll find. 

I work hard year round on my baseball skills, participating in Spring Games, Travel Ball tournaments, and Baseball Showcases. I also have participated in years of High School basketball, High School track, and still am participating in the gridiron game of football. I lift four times a week with my team in the high school's weight room, and do individual specific workouts for agility and quickness with a personal trainer. All of these have helped contribute to my athleticism. 

In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. Inducted into the National Honor Society and part of the all-state academic team for both baseball and football. I am looking to receive the Honors Diploma for graduation. I also volunteer at local food pantries and sporting events along with having a job at the town's local diner, Bluebird Cafe. 

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the baseball diamond. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all of my peers, in my community, and make my parents and two younger brothers proud.
